Operations and AI, written for operators.
Clear-eyed thinking on where growing businesses leak time and margin, and how to fix it. No buzzwords, just what actually moves the work.
Most operations content is written for consultants, not for the people who actually run the business. This is the opposite. Every piece here starts from a real problem we have seen inside founder-led and multi-location companies: the owner who is still the bottleneck, the two branches that somehow run completely differently, the process that only works because one person remembers how it goes.
We write the way we work. First we diagnose where the work leaks time and money. Then we show what a practical fix looks like, the kind you can put in place with a fixed-scope project instead of a year-long transformation. Where AI genuinely helps, we say so and explain how. Where it is just hype, we say that too. The goal is always the same: help you perform like a company twice your size without adding headcount or complexity.
What we write about
See it
How to spot the hidden drag in your operations. Where the work slows down, why locations drift apart, and the signals that show you have outgrown the way you run today.
Fix it
Practical fixes that hold up under pressure. Standardized playbooks, cleaner handoffs, and the specific spots where automation and AI earn their keep instead of adding noise.
Own it
How to make the new way of working stick. Training your team to run it without you, so improvements survive after the project ends and the business no longer depends on any single person.
